TURLOUGH HILL, CAMADERRY, MINERS WAY & WILD SWIM 25 MAY- WICKLOW
Join us on this 15km hike through the Wicklow Mountains, we will begin near the Upper Lake in Glendalough and make our way up to Camaderry where hopefully we will get some lovely views over Wicklow, from there we will pass by Turlough Hill power station and then taking the road less travelled back to our starting point back down through St. Kevin's way. Weather dependant, there may be an opportunity to go for a dip either by St. Kevin's way or back near the cars in Glendalough upper lake. There will be plenty of opportunities to take breaks and absorb the views along the way, this hike will be done at a relaxed pace and is ideal for anyone looking to try their first long distance hike or for anyone training for long distance during the year.

CAR POOLING
For anyone that offers up a lift and the lift is accepted you will receive 10% back on your ticket. We ask that all car poolers make a donation to fuel costs. To offer a lift or request a lift simply head to our GGW Facebook Page and share the details of the hike and your pick up location/locations. If you are a car pooler and are unsuccessful in finding a lift please email hello@galzgonewild.com on the Monday before your adventure and we will send a mail out to all participants on your behalf when we send out the itinerary and checklist on the Tuesday afternoon.

GGW is staying true to one of the commitments we made on International Women’s Day which was to reduce the financial barriers that may stop Women from experiencing the outdoors.
This is a new initiative and will see the current structure of GGW change so that we may create space for all Women in the outdoors. We realise that the outdoors may not be accessible to everyone. Because of this we are now offering options to suit everyone and their needs.
